OTF-1200X-4-R-II-AF is a two zones rotary tube furnace with automatic feeding & receiving mechanism. The automatic feeder controls the amount and distribution of the materials inside the tube furnace to achieve continuous CVD powder processing under controlled temperature and atmosphere. The receiving tank will accept fired powder without exposing the material to air.
This furnace set is designed for calcining inorganic compounds with better uniformity and preparing Li-Ion battery cathode materials with conductive coatings, such as LiFePO3, LiMnNiO3, etc and rotating CVD for Si/C anode materials.

Furnace Construction
|
- Double shell casing with three cooling fans
- High purity Alumina fibrous insulation for max. energy saving
- Gear DC motor drives quartz tube with variable speed 0 - 10 RPM
- The furnace can be tilted up to 20°

Automatic Feeding Furnace
|
- The compact automatic powder feeder is mounted on the tiltable furnace via a vacuum-sealed swivel assembly. (Pic 1)
- The proper connection ensures a uniform feeding rate and the tube rotation undisturbed under a controlled atmosphere. (Pic 2-3)
- The feeding rate is adjustable by the potentiometer knob, 97cm^3/min max.
- One stainless steel tank (1L Capacity, 70-80%) is installed on the other end of the processing tube to gather the fired powder without exposure to air (Pic.6), a 2 L capacity is also available upon request.

- Constant temperature zone: 200 mm within +/- 1oC if two zones at the same temperature.

- In the case that the collected powder needs to be transferred in a sealed container, a customized setup can be purchased along with the furnace. This setup includes the flange with inline swivel, flexible bellows, right angel tube, the container with the butterfly valve and the support frame. The customer can easily remove the container with the butterfly valve for transportation while remaining the sealed condition. - The tube furnaces with quartz tube are designed for use under vacuum and low pressure < 0.2 bars / 3 psi / 0.02 MPa
- Attention: A two-stage pressure regulator must be installed on the gas cylinder to limit the pressure to below 3 PSI for safe operation. Click here to learn the installation of a gas regulator.
- Vacuum limit definition for all quartz tube furnaces: * Vacuum pressures may only be safely used up to 1000°C
