• The hybrid film applicator includes two parts:
• 150 mm width doctor blade is made of stainless steel and installed with dual micrometers to adjust film thickness from the range of 0.01 mm - 5 mm. (Pic.1)
  
• 100 mm width slot die head: Stainless Steel or PEEK are selectable at the product option. 
  • Poly Ether Ether Ketone (PEEK) is a semicrystalline thermoplastic with excellent mechanical and chemical resistance properties retained to high temperatures. (Click here to see properties)
• The PTFE buffering pad was installed on the bottom of the doctor blade to reduce friction. (Pic. 2)

• The slot die head (Stainless Steel or PEEK ) can be fixed on the doctor blade to coat film thickness from 0.005 mm  - 0.5 mm, which includes:

• 2 pcs of 0.2 mm thickness shim
• 2 pcs of 0.3 mm thickness shim
• 2 pcs of 0.4 mm thickness shim
• 1 pcs PTFE tube ( 1/8" OD x 2.175 mm ID)
• 1 set of connectors for connecting the pump to the slot die
• Other widths slots die heads (10 or 50 mm) can be installed on the doctor blade upon request. (Pic.3)

Micrometer Head

• The accuracy of the digital micrometer head: +/- 0,001 mm, which are built-in doctor blade frames to adjust the gap between the slot die and the substrate.
•      
  

Dimension & Weight

• The most suitable for the hybrid film applicator is  MSK-AFA-II coater. because it has a lapped glass surface and  < flatness of +/- 2 microns.  Please click the Pic. 1 below right to order separately

• Slot die is removable if using the doctor blade head for tape coating
