Item Number: MSK-H2300-E150
Transported by LTL Freight (Truck)

MSK-H2300-E150 is an electric hot rolling press with a maximum the working temperature of 150°C and Max. the pressure of 30T. The 300mm wide rollers (HRC60) allow the process of various materials such as battery electrodes, plastic media, soft metal, and composite foils. The built-in hydraulic pressure regulating system provides stable pressure control over the entire calendering process. It is an ideal tool to increase material density and achieve better surface quality.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Features

  • PLC control system simplifies HMI. A large touchscreen panel controls pressure, rolling speed, temperature, and data logging.
  • The pneumatic pressure regulating system ensures stable pressure during operation.
  • Rolling thickness is adjustable up to 3 mm
  • The optional R2R system enables continuous hot rolling substrate rolls for calendaring and lamination.

Voltage and Power

  • AC220V +/- 10%, single phase, 50/60Hz, 8 kW

Roller Dimension

  • Diameter: 196 mm, Width: 300 mm (maximum rolling foil or electrode width is recommended as 200 mm)

Roller Material and Hardness

  • 9Cr3Mo, surface coated with chromium layer with a thickness of >0.08mm
  • HRC 65-70
  • Note: Never roll materials with hardness > 60HRC.

Rolling Gap Thickness

  • 0 ~ 3mm, manual adjustment

Rolling Thickness Accuracy

  • ± 3μm (Only if the uniformity of the sample is ≤ ±2μm)

Rolling Thickness Decrement

  • The maximum rolling thickness decrease of 25-30% is suggested (For thick samples, multiple-time rollings are required)

Roller Temperature

  • Max. 150°C ( IR heating) within +/- 5 oC at 200 mm zone
  • Optional:  200oC working temperature is available upon request at extra cost

Application Notes

Important announcement (please read this before placing the order)

  • Must use ethanol or acetone to clean the rollers' surface after each use and keep it dry.
  • Never roll material with hardness > 60HRC
  • If the machine will be idle for a long period, please apply anti-rust lubricant on the rollers
  • The minimum thickness of the rolled sheet should depend on the physical properties of the material. Here are some results from our test:
  • Please refer to this instruction on how to calculate rolling pressure from roller gap (reference only)

Compliance & Warranty
  • CE Certified
  • NRTL certificate is available upon request at extra cost.
  • One-year limited warranty with lifetime support
  • Rusting and damage due to improper storage condition or maintenance are not covered by warranty
Warnings
  • Do not touch the surface of the rolling part of the machine when the rollers are heated up or running.
  • Due to the influence of working environments, the temperature on the roller surface may be different from the display on the controller. You may calibrate the temperature by EQ-TC-calibrator-LD, and refer to the instructions here from time to time to ensure heating temperature accuracy
  • Never roll materials with hardness > 50HRC
  • Multi-step thickness calendering needed: While calendering the sample sheet, make each calendering decrement of 0.02mm compared with the sheet's original thickness.
  • Never calendering decrement over 0.02mm compared with original sheet thickness each calendering.
  • It is not allowed to use any MTI product in any hazardous location, especially prohibited from using in Class I environments (flammable gasses & vapor).
