OTF-1200X-6M is a 12-zone & 20' (6m) Long 5" OD split tube furnace with separated temperature control units and a max working temperature of 1100°C. This 12-zone furnace 18' long constant heating zone by setting all the temperature controllers at the same temperature. The furnace can accept processing tubes up to 5".   Touch Screen precision temperature controllers are built in a separate control box which allows control of the furnace from a certain distance. It is an excellent furnace to treat long strip samples under a vacuum and controlled atmosphere.

  • High-purity fibrous alumina insulation provides good energy savings.
  • Heating Element: 1300 °C grade Fe-Cr-Al Alloy doped by Mo
  • Modulated chamber, which allows the ultra-long to furnace easy shipping and installing

Thermal Block Placement

Heating Zone
  • 12 independent heating zones: Each heating zone length is 500 mm
  • Total zone length: 6000 mm
  • Max. Constant temperature zone 5400 mm if 12 zones are heated to the same temperature (within +/- 5 °C)




Temperature Controllers
  • One touch screen digital temperature controller built-in a separate unit, which can control 12 heating zones independently
  • Each channel is PID automatically controlled and saves 10 programs and each program has max. 30 segments
  • Built-in overheating & broken thermocouple protection.
  • +/- 1 ºC temperature accuracy.
  • 12 K-type thermocouples (one for each zone).
  • RS485 Communications Port built-in. and software included, 
  • The furnace may be operated by PC (please order PC separately).
  •                                


Tube & Flange
  • One 5" OD x 4.7" ID x 22' L （6500 mm) quartz tube is included
  • One pair of stainless steel vacuum flange is included with a quick assembling flange (an outside clamp for quick installation). Left flange with needle valve with 1/4" pipe port for gas inlet and one pressure gauge; Right flange with KF 40 port for vacuum pump connection as shown below

Warranty One-year limited warranty for electrical parts. (Consumable parts such as processing tubes,  o-rings and heating elements are not covered by the warranty, please order the replacement at related products below.)  
Laptop, software & WiFi Control (Optional)
    
  • Brand new laptop with Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2013 (30 days free trial) 
  • Labview Based Temperature Control System (EQ-MTS01) enables users to edit temperature profiles, manage heat-treatment recipes, record and plot data for MTI furnaces.
  • A wireless remote control provides up to 300 meters of operating range.

 Application Notes
Warning
  • Tube furnaces with quartz/mullite tube are designed for use under vacuum and low pressure <0.2 bar
  • Attention: A two-stage pressure regulator must be installed on gas cylinder to limit the pressure to below 3 PSI for safe operation. Click here to learn the installation of a gas regulator.
  •  Vacuum pressures may only be safely used up to 1500°C
