  OTF-1200XS5-ASD is a 5" OD tube furnace with a fully automatic operation if paired with a robotIt automates the vacuum sealing, purging, heating, and cooling in a sequence via one click. Fully automation can also be realized via a laptop and a robot, including remote control, data logging, sample loading, and unloading. The maximum working temperature is 1200°C.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Furnace 
 
  • Double-layer steel structure with splittable cover
  • High-purity Al2O3 fibrous insulation with Max. energy saving
  • 300 mm length heating chamber with Constant temperature zone 100 mm with +/- 5°C 
  • PID programmable temperature controller with +/- 1°C accuracy
  • Max working temperature:    1200oC @ < 1 hr, and 1100ºC continuous
  • 5" quartz tube (130mm O.D x 120mm I.D x 520mmL) is included
  • The pressure sensor is built in to control chamber pressure automatically
  • One MFC is built in to control the gas flow rate automatically
Airtight Flanges and Sliding

  • 5" Dia. Water-cold stainless steel flange with silicone O-ring and valves for airtight heat treatment (Pic. 1)
  • The right side flange will be driven by a dual compressive cylinder for closing or opening via electric valves
  • A Digital pressure sensor is built-in to control pressure from 1 Pa to 200 KPa  automatically
  • Max. The vacuum level is dependent on the vacuum pump.  
  • One rotary vacuum pump is included, which can reach a 10 Pa vacuum.

Control Panel & Software



  • Touch screen control panel to program all parameters, including
    • Chamber pressure  ( 1-200 KPa )
    • Gas flow rate  ( 0 - 2000ml/minute )
    • Purging cycles  ( 0 - 3 times )
    • Temperature program ( heating rate, dwell time, and cooling rate ) up to 30 segments
    • The flange closes/opens
  • RJ45 communication port is installed on the front panel to connect to the PC or wireless router to achieve remote control  ( PC and router are available upon request at the extra cost )
  • PC operation software is included which can support 8 sets of furnace
  • Communication code is opened to the existing customer to connect the device to robots for unmanned operation
Options
  • Full automation with sample loading is optional via the integration with a robot arm. ( Pic. 1)
  • Add a gas delivery system, the furnace can be upgraded to a fully automated CVD system  (Pic. 2)
  • The furnace can be integrated with mixing  and pressing machines to achieve automated sintering processing

  •  220VAC +/- 10%, 3KW, ( 20A breaker ) single-phase , power supply
  • > 100 PSI compressive air source
  • > 16 ml/min recirculating water

Warning
The furnace lid is relatively heavy. Open with care to avoid furnace flipping over.

One-year limited warranty with lifetime support (Consumable parts such as processing tubes and o-rings are not covered by the warranty, please order replacements for related products below.)

NRTL or CSA certification is available upon request at an extra cost.
